How do I change pre-order item??
I pre-ordered from Best Buy and got my per-order package $10. Now after playing two BWEs I want to be a Ranger. EB has the cool Bow. My account is set for the Best Buy version. I only have one e-mail address. How do I switch my e-mail GW account to the EB version with out messing up my account.? also anybody know if Best Buy will let you swich from retail to CE?

the preorder item is tied to the preorder code. you need to open the 2nd account with the EB preorder code in order to get the bow on that account.

Hmm well you could just cancel it and do it at the other store, but I'm positive that it wouldn't be that super important for a level 1 item heh but thats just me

Actually if you think about it I think most of the items are going to be used for the first few levels (ie maybe good to level 5 or so) so I wouldn't worry about it to much

thanks
Thanks, I was worried that I was going to be the only Ranger without that cool Bow but if it is only lvl 1 I can find somethig better in no time. What do all of you think about the Aura ? Is it worth the extra $30

Personally...
Personally I think if anything the aura will be the only useful thing through your character's life. It is supposed to boost select things in your character, so in the end the aura is more useful than the pre-order items...although for the extra money I do not know exactly. All I can say is that I know I am getting it. I could use a new pair of headphones so it ends up working out for me.

besides the aura simply looks good and you can remove the aura by simply unequiping it
use something better on missions put on the aura as soon as you get among people in town |

I got the CE for Half Life 2 becasuse along with other things it said it came with an art/hint book. The book was only the size of a CD case and was not any help in the game at all. This makes be a little "gunshy" of CE versions of games. Is the Aura only avaible if you pre-order?? I would like to see what other people think of the book afters they get it.

The Aura comes with the CE whether you pre-order or not.

Dumb question about Pre-orders
I bought a pre-order at the EB here in Ontario, but they didn't have any pre-order boxes left. The hubby bought a pre-order box from Best Buy. Does this mean, since I haven't got a beta code from my EB pre-order, that I won't get the Bow?

Maybe someone knows the answer to this but I would suggest that CE and Retail both are considered "retail" when you enter their codes but the CE code unlocks an additional feature in your account. Just would seem to be easier for Arena.net to manage considering the world wide base of the game. I don't know if there is anything that explains this so maybe Gaile could shed light on this if someone knows how to reach them.
